Named after the small nearby creek, which was a thriving boatbuilding centre for centuries, Galmpton Creek Hideaway is dog friendly and welcomes one well-behaved dog and offers a peaceful riverside escape for up to four guests.
With two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious open-plan living area, it provides the perfect setting to relax, unwind and enjoy the beauty of the River Dart.
Both bedrooms feature super king-size beds, which can also be configured as twin beds if required, while the master bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom. The open-plan living space combines a comfortable lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen, with a cosy log burner creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the year.
The Hideaway’s unique covered outdoor area provides the perfect spot to enjoy a drink, dine al fresco or watch the sunset after a day exploring the river. Large sliding doors from both the living and dining areas open onto the surrounding grass area, bringing the outdoors in and allowing guests to fully appreciate the peaceful surroundings.
The property includes everything you need for a relaxing stay, including central heating, free Wi-Fi, a TV, washing machine and luxury toiletries from Land & Water, including hand wash, body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
The fully fitted kitchen includes a cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and all the crockery, glassware, cutlery and kitchen utensils needed during your stay.
There is parking available for two cars, along with a 3-phase EV Easee Charger located at the top of the Hideaways driveway for guests to use.
